Braveland

Your village was cruelly raided by bandits! Start as a humble warrior’s son and become a talented commander of your army. Evolve your hero, find artifacts and learn battle magic. Intense boss fights await you at the end of each story chapter. Various warriors will join in your cause – archers, scouts, healers, footmen, arbalesters and more. Command your troops and defeat enemies in hand to hand battles!

The game is more simplistic than Heroes and probably my memories gave it more attractiveness than it actually has. It was quite good but alas, way short. I think it's a cute and fun strategy game and would like to see more of these offered since I've liked playing this style of game for years. A little more polish and I would have given it 5 stars but overall not a bad way to kill some time. I like the maps but it would be nice to have the option to travel to places faster, my only gripe so far being that you have to watch your character walk from place to place so going back to a store seems tedious but otherwise this game is a nice little gem and I'll probably go ahead and get it after playing the demo. I chose the normal setting just to get a feel for the game but it's still a bit of a challenge to defeat your enemies.
