While the ice contributes well to the backdrops you see while playing, many lovely ice-covered locations making up the scenery even if none really pack a wow factor, its involvement in the gameplay only hampers the experience. You collect rubies that are behind cards, and can spend a ruby to unfreeze frozen cards. Some are well hidden but most are easy to spot. Her glaring face every time I didn't get a "perfect" game. Once again the Princess must save the Kingdom by defeating the Ice Queen before everything and everyone freezes eternally! A round of solitaire ends when either the play field is completely cleared of cards or you are unable to make any more moves after flipping through your deck. BUT, if you don't get that "perfect" game, the Ice Queen's face sneers at you grrrr - hate that and, again, you have the choice to "continue" or "replay" you still earn coins and rubies. I bought it at the end of one round but didn't use it. Sometimes I just want to relax, and this game is perfect for that. Corvus the beautiful white raven is back and serves as your Chronicler once again, as well as the Frog who lounges quietly upon a wild card until you require his services.
