Three Musketeers Secret: Constances Mission

Experience the classic tale of the Three Musketeers from Constance’s eyes as she works as a secret agent for the queen in Three Musketeers Secrets: Constance’s Mission! Help Constance as she not only inspires Gascony with her love, but takes on danger and saves the lives of the queen and D’Artagnan. Explore gorgeous scenes and live through an incredible tale in Three Musketeers Secrets: Constance’s Mission!

You explore only a minimum of locales in each chapter, which means maximum linearity and very little traveling back and forth. I have played enough of the Demo to know I want to buy this game. There is plenty of puzzles, of all sorts, not difficult, traditional, easy yet good fun. At times you have to find a list of objects which are not related to the story, like pumpkin seeds or a snail, but none are anachronic [a plus], or fragmented pieces of various garments and costumes which Constance, as the Queen's special agent, needs as a disguise in order to complete her mission [like in Mata Hari]. The hunt for useful objects and their use present no true difficulty; the tasks are clearly stated and several of them are quite inventive such as what you need to do in the Cardinal's bedroom. Constance's Mission constitutes a healthy change from monsters, madmen, gore and guts, showing that a casual game can be fun without being necessarily morbid. This game is good fun. Considering how miniscule some items are, this can become quite frustrating. And indeed, although the game is not a game of action such as a FPS, there is plenty to do. Related Stories. You don't have a choice of Game Modes; there is only one, and no widescreen option. On the other hand, you are left in the scenes with very little idea of what you are looking for or where to go. I really liked the way the Hidden Object scenes were done. So good story line. In others, which act as minigames, the surrounding objects move as you hover your cursor; these scenes are rather overcrowded but they can be skipped like all the other minigames.

Also, the amount of hand holding in the game will likely turn off seasoned adventurers and the lack of direction may turn off those who are new to the genre. 1. Looking forward to more games like this. Interestingly, the clothes Constance wears in the cut scenes never seem to match the costume she wore. For the most part, objects are hidden within the actual game scenes. Considering how miniscule some items are, this can become quite frustrating. This is why I am giving this game 5 stars.

  2. This will be a great game for casual relaxation and pleasant enjoyment Cutscenes however are less successful, being more static, with a couple of bizarre animations. I have no problem with the fact that there's no voices or music because that in itself can be very distracting.
