A lot of the items are small and very well hidden. Every room is bursting at the seams with cleverly hidden items. And I really enjoyed that you earned money by selling the things you find to remodel the castle and its grounds. Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by stars4J from This is fun to play! This is a wonderfully long and enjoyable game! For the most part the hidden objects where not that hard to find though it seemed the last ones were the samllest or most cleverly hidden. It is really difficult sometimes to find the objects on the list. Rated 5 out of 5 by Gameritis50 from Review of a finished game Perfect game for a beginner as well Chronicles of Albian: The Magic Convention the advanced Egyptian Settlement 2: New Worlds. Unless you are a hard core hidden object fan this gets tiresome after a while. The magicians, the fairies and witches are very beautiful and is a light game. Lately all the HOGs are so dark, vampires, death, ills, too much blood, murders and dark scenes. It makes it very pleasant to take time for yourself, with Foreign Dreams fun game, pleasant music, and nice bright, colourful scenes. The mini games are slightly different than most of the new games and the music in the background is quite relaxing.
Love the ability to buy upgrading of castle, original concept and provides motivation to complete. I loved the humorous chatter between scenes. I was shocked when the trial ended so quickly A real keeper! Every room is bursting at the seams with cleverly hidden items. Solve more than 80 unique puzzles throughout your adventure. The graphics are absolutely gorgeous, and as a bonus you get all the lovely scenes as wallpaper. I can honestly say there is so much going on in these rooms it makes my eyes want to cross. It's your regular HOG game with no interaction at all. There are mini games and they are for the most part enjoyable, but it is mostly going from one room to another to find more and more hidden objects. The castle becomes gorgeous when you finish it. It's like they used old HO objects and transposed them into another game, then gave it a gimmicky name to attract players.
Really, it is just a junk pile hog. Each type progressed in difficulty. The artwork was quite nice and fit to the story. The items are very tiny and well hidden. Would like to find another game like this by whoever created this one. Any time I can't find an item on the list I search for one of those, and by the time I've grabbed a few jewels or picked up a new wand, suddenly my fresh perspective uncovers the item I was having trouble with. It's a really long game which Mahjong Legacy of the Toltecs enjoy as well as a Medieval Defenders. I love to fix up buildings in the scenes and I buy all games I have to do that. Last Resort Island building you are given options in styles and to even go back and change. The mini games are varied and, naturally, get progressively harder the farther you get into the game. It is really difficult sometimes to find the objects on the list. There is also a nice bonus for finding items quickly, one after the other, so as my skills starten to sharpen, I would find 4 or 5 items before starting to click them to get big bonuses. I prefer games that I can enjoy myself, happy games. Usually I can finish this type of game in one sitting but this one really makes you work for Chronicles of Albian: The Magic Convention level. So, if you're looking for a challenge and a magical, fairy tale storyline, the Chronicles of Albian is for you!
Just to have fun. Experienced HOG players may not care for the length and having to go back and forth to find things in the same rooms. I loved the humorous chatter between scenes. None of the scenes although graphically beautiful had anything to do with the storyline. The story is cute, but not intrusive, so you are never more than a few clicks away from the next hidden object scene. This humor can be described as pure British. A real keeper! I want more like this one. There are a lot of levels in this game so it will keep you busy for quite awhile. Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by gatoraid from One of my favourites This game will be played over again, as it is one of the most fun games I've ever played. Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by stars4J from This is fun to play! The other commentor was right, some clicks just wouldn't select the item. This could have been a great game with less HO repetition and more interest-building plot, mini-games and applications where you could think about what you needed to do next.
There is also a nice bonus for finding items quickly, one after the other, so as my skills starten to sharpen, I would find 4 or 5 items before starting to click them to get big bonuses. Very well done. Just not my cup of tea. I like that it replays rooms up to a certain point, then new rooms are unlocked. Also the HO scenes were a type that I particularly dislike, 'junkyards' crammed full of irrelevant and out-of-context items, really spoils the feel of the game for me. Would like to find another game like this by whoever created this one. The items are very tiny and well hidden. There are wands that will replenish your hints if you can find them and a fairy lurking around in each scene that will find something for you. It was a pleasant way to pass some time but if you are looking for a challenge, this won't do it. Quite a few of the things you are looking for are impossible to find, ie: black notes on a black beam. The storyline is charming, light-hearted, and magical- you need to help restore the castle for an upcoming magic convention. For players who love pure HOG game, this one's for you.
Finding objects is challenging but if you find the Fairy she will help you locate one in the list. I bought it in the first 10 minutes of the demo. The mini games were a wide variety and type. I only play relaxed mode on all games that afford me the option so this game was relaxing yet gave me a good object hunt experience. This game is nothing but loads of hidden objects that mostly have nothing to do with the game. Really nice graphics. There are mini games and they are for the most part enjoyable, but it is mostly going from one room to another to find more and more hidden objects. Each type progressed in difficulty. Rated 5 out of 5 by Gameritis50 from Review of a finished game Perfect game for a beginner as well as the advanced player. Unless you are a hard core hidden object fan this gets tiresome after a while. Highly recomend! But, all in all, it still had an engaging story, beautiful scenes that can also be unlocked to use as wallpaper , and some interesting puzzles.
