The Forums are not very well suited for the kinds of information gathering and troubleshooting that get these types of issues corrected quickly. There is a timer, but it has a lot of time on it and should pose no problem to anyone , and the sound effects are great, from a sharp clattering when ice tiles are destroyed to metallic effects for destroying gold tiles, and fireworks display when you achieve the next "level up" which earns you tokens to purchase more spells.
