Effects and music, which was rather pleasant, went along with the action in the scene. That's where things start to go awry. It's not the creepy dark genre we've seen so much of. Hidden objects were varied and very challenging in most instances. I highly recommend it. Give the demo a shot and see if you won't like it also. To keep it consistent with the detective theme, the game also includes a helpful clues bag to assist you with the case. I find the mini games very challenging. Just a good old mystery. It is refreshing to see an old-school murder mystery HOPA once in a while. I haven't finished the game yet, but, I find the story enjoyable, and the characters likable. Most developers offer an alternative game to hidden objects, which I have never understood since these are hidden object games. The last one. I wish the developers would get away from the mystical and go to the mysteries more. To be a successful hidden object game, the developers and artists must build a story that is compelling, locations that are interesting and memorable, allow us to make mistakes yet recover without trauma or injury.

I chose the CE version and I completed the main game in just under four hours and the bonus chapter in 55 minutes. I highly recommend! The game delivers the juicy storyline in such an interesting way by having you play as both Aaron and Mary Fletcher. The last one. It has a lot of differences from most games, especially NO ghosts, goblins, or things that go bump in the night. To be a successful hidden object game, the developers and artists must build a story that is compelling, locations that are interesting and memorable, allow us to make mistakes yet recover without trauma or injury. Just a bit of fun. The voice-overs are appropriate and the music effectively raises the sense of urgency of the game. Some were down right hard. The actors voices were excellent, even though I couldn't see the lips in most scenes. Most developers offer an alternative game to hidden objects, which I have never understood since these are hidden object games. Memoirs of Murder: Welcome to Hidden Pines is the first chapter to what appears to be a classic murder mystery series.

At the start of the game, you will be offered the option to start with either of the characters, the story develops accordingly from there. The hidden object scenes are often multi-layered and offer a fair share of challenge, while the puzzles can sometimes be surprisingly clever and complex. I highly recommend! It is refreshing to see an old-school murder mystery HOPA once in a while. Why don't they offer an alternative for mini games. I highly recommend! I highly recommend it. Just a good old mystery. The talent this team wields is pretty awesome. It was a let down for many puzzles cause I could not either figure out what I was supposed to do, or like the hunter game, I would get to where I was supposed to be but I lost. Really Defense of Greece the story. Thoroughly enjoyed this one! The music isn't repetitive either no one likes to play HOPA's with mundane repetitive background music. It is also a plus that the storyline in Resorting to Revenge is satisfyingly suspenseful and complex, even though there are several moments that drag a little. Some reading involved but a lot of characters talked so no reading. Good map for mobility! Great story! The bonus chapter features a mini crime case that also occurred in Hidden Pines and added another 50 minutes to the game. Puzzles were a different take on the norm, a little tricky but you had to figure them out.
