Amaranthine Voyage: The Orb of Purity

From Eipix Entertainment, the studio that created Final Cut and Sea of Lies, invites you to explore a new world in the next Amaranthine Voyage! Professor Samantha Bennett has made a huge breakthrough in her harmonium research, but is shocked when a man from another world falls through her new portal. The man calls himself Kraixx and appears to be ill, pleading with Prof. Bennett to save his world. Since you're the leading expert on harmonium, Prof. Bennett calls you in, hoping you can save this strange man's life and uncover the mysteries of the dark harmonium threatening to swallow Kraixx's world. Search this new world for clues, but beware the Watchers, a cold-hearted group whose goal is to arrest anyone with magical abilities, including Kraixx. You'll have to decide who to trust in this new world where anything is possible.

It's up to Eve "you" to purify an alien world and restore balance of the harmonium in the universe in this wonderful Adventure Puzzle Hidden Object! And things get less intelligible from there, unfortunately. There are other settings you can fiddle with and most importantly, at least IMHO, is that you can turn of the click penalty. This edition offers gorgeous graphics, excellent voice acting, and lengthy game play hours. Kraixx might look like you and I but he's definitely from another world, a world being consumed by the dark energy of Harmonium. One big source of irritation for me was using the gauntlet you acquire early on to bring in crystal power by playing the same two minigames over and over again. I assume the low ratings come from people who have tried a lot of Eipix's stuff, but don't be deceived by them: this game has bright, interesting scenery, a unique storyline for the most part even if it does dovetail into the usual 'rescuing people from a mysterious evil' style of tale , and a fusion of fantasy and sci fi elements. I love these multi-faceted puzzles that require a bit more thought to solve. Submit Thank you for writing a post! If you want something bright and fantastical but not too hard, you could do a lot worse than spending an afternoon on this game. I found myself starting to dread it by the end. So give it a try. I would almost buy the game just to see what it has for an ending, as though we couldn't guess. If I like the mini-games I am not as bored by these gimmicks but in some games they are rather a nuisance to complete when I need to get on with saving someone or something — lol. The killer for me was the mini games. A cloaking device which you must repair in order to use and lots of strategy. Note that your review won't be visible right away: our team checks it before we post it publicly. All in all, the HOPs and puzzles are terrific and even though some of the puzzles might seem easy, there is a good mix of difficulty so there is something for everyone. I bought the CE and don't regret it, but the SE would be fun, too. The game looks and sounds reasonable, although the voice of the main antagonist drives me crazy and seems to be featured in everything I play lately. The graphics, simply drawn and not very well I might add. Bennett has made a major breakthrough with her otherworldly portal, and someone has just arrived on her doorstep! The HOPs include a variety of types Amaranthie some requiring that we find so many of a certain item where others are the type where we find items based on silhouette. Of course with this being a game from my favorite game developer, I know that I am getting top quality in graphics and sound. Only for series completists. I'm not a mini game person and that just spoiled it for me. You play a professor who assists her colleague when a stranger from another dimension arrives at the school. Every time you use the Gauntlet you will play a small mini game of either matching the identical symbols or drag ropes across every star point. I have another of this series and while it has been a while since I've played it, I do not recall having one mini game after the other and that is what this seems to have at least in the demo. 1. Fortunately, Kraixx has equipped you with a Gauntlet capable of collecting both dark and light Harmonium energy, breaking barriers and discharging it's energy as needed. Had it been on graphics only, I wouldn't have given it that high, but the sound, especially the voice over scenes were excellent. These producers never disappoint. I gave the visuals and sound a 4.

  2. There is also my favorite list type included in the mix but no matter the type of scene many are quite interactive and that increases the fun. Depends upon how much you like it. The story is about what you would expect. Below are brief descriptions of some of the games you will encounter: 1 Assemble the CCPP logo by dragging different tetris shapes into the individual letters.

  3. The Collector's Edition has the addition of 43 Hidden Collectible Owls or Freyy's Apprentice, there is no cursor change to help you out, but they seem to all be pink which seems a bit odd. Eipix probably doesn't need to continue this series of it's franchise, I think it has plateaued Had it been on graphics only, I wouldn't have given it that high, but the sound, especially the voice over scenes were excellent. Unfortunately, it appears that our visitor has brought an unwelcome dark energy with him so now Earth is in the same boat. The killer for me was the mini games. Only for series completists.

  5. This is posted after playing the demo. All in all, the HOPs and puzzles are terrific and even though some of the puzzles might seem easy, there is a good mix of difficulty so there is something for everyone. You'll zip through portals and meet lots of people who end up standing there helplessly while you do absolutely everything, and while the consequences of failure are presented as very great indeed, I can't say you ever feel like anything going on is really that important. 8. I feel like I've played better versions of this game before. Unfortunately, this one was not fun for me and I couldn't wait to have the demo end. Kraixx has crossed through a portal to seek our help to save his world from doom caused by dark Harmonium energy that has gone awry. Not to mention excellent gameplay!

  9. Now you must protect Kraixx, travel to that world and finish work of your new friend, protecting that world from the wrath of dark harmonium! So give it a try. The Collector's Edition also has several Achievements to earn, and many of the inventory items have plus signs indicating some type of interaction is necessary before using the item. There are other settings you can fiddle with and most importantly, at least IMHO, is that you can turn of the click penalty.

You cannot have light without the dark, there cannot be good if there isn't evil, you cannot destroy until you create! 12. Now, I approach their games just like anyother developer. If you choose the custom mode you can set the hint recharge time in a range from 10 to seconds and puzzle skips from 10 to seconds. If balance isn't restored in his world, our world will surely perish! You cannot have light without the dark, there cannot be good if there isn't evil, you cannot destroy until you create!
