G.H.O.S.T. Hunters: The Haunting of Majesty Manor

As a new investigator for G.H.O.S.T. Hunters you have been called to Majesty Manor to investigate a possible haunting. Search the house for clues and generate a list of suspects. Then eliminate suspects as you rush between the dark, shadowy attic and the haunted rooms in a final heart-pounding race against time Will you be able to solve the mystery in time?

I got a little bored, but it wasn't bad. The cursor changes into a wand and beeps as you get closer to an object. Good practice. I like that you are not locked in to a single room, as you tend to find some objects if you exit and come back later. Lots of HOS, bright, colorful and just an overall very fun game to play! It would have been better if a glimpse of a story were there before having to do this. All this gives the appropriate atmosphere to the game. The one thing that the game lacks is a difficulty setting; I would like each of the objects to be rated according to difficult and then include those particular objects at each level. Hunters has better features than other hidden object games. You are given 15 days to investigate 19 unique locations of the Majesty Manor to solve the mystery. Hunters is pretty entertaining. Although it is repetitive, the door opening creeps me out every time. The music and sound effects are so good and impressive, like thunder, footsteps, whispers and creaking hinges. They're different from the current HOPA games and it's fun to have both kinds to play. It's quite clunky and not that easy to find the hidden objects..

I'm not overly keen on the hidden object dectector that you use when you need a hint. Hunters some replay value, something that hidden object games typically lack. However, if you play the same level again in a new game, the object list will change and eventually take advantage of each object in the room. It was just the right amount of creepy. Finding some of the things may not be very easy as the items-to-find list does not specify, say, what kind of bat you should be looking for. Like in other hidden-object genre games, you get time penalty for frequent random clicking. Hunters is above average in terms of graphics and sound, providing a challenging environment in a good setting. The music fits the theme of the game well, and G. The number of the hints is limited for a level.

  4. I would have bought it just because it's something to do with hidden objects, but again, the timer. It would have been better if a glimpse of a story were there before having to do this. The one thing that the game lacks is a difficulty setting; I would like each of the objects to be rated according to difficult and then include those particular objects at each level. The game is played at a resolution of by pixels, which is high enough to satisfy me.
