The are challenge and interesting, Most of them are variant of some common puzzles hanoi tower, nonogram, etc. This was altogether too confusing for me but perhaps more advanced gamers may find it easy to play. At first I became frustrated as I couldn't figure out how the game worked. Solitaire 330 Deluxe story line, nice victorian style background music, but simply awful artwork. If you are playing in timed mode, you can pause the game tye pressing the escape key or by clicking the clock in the menu window with your mouse. These might be little annoying -Indeed, hidden objects are tiny. In fact, I liked this game so much, I played it four times! For those of you thinking this is a hound of the baskervilles type game it's not. But, believe me, they can really come in handy in this game, because the hidden objects can be really, really small. The Casual Mode Pwrsian easy puzzles, allows you to skip up to 7 puzzles, and provides you with "guided, linear investigation" which, as I learned by playing, means that they open up only the locations, and spots within a given Mystey, one by one. But put this in a more interactive mystery book type game. Plans for the summer vacation are interrupted, however, when the brilliant duo learns that the body in question was actually wrapped in a fine, stolen Persian carpet. Dark, small objects and some places very difficult. Before you begin the game you can choose between untimed or timed modes, depending on your level of expertise. Once you have retrieved all of the objects you must reconstruct a torn note in a jigsaw style puzzle. By that I mean you must find very very small items that are sometimes in very very dark shadows. Can they find enough clues and decipher the interrogations to solve the case? Just go to Options, and you will see it at the very top of the page. As some reviewers say, this game is definately on more of a challenging side. Also, you will sometimes see small gears at the bottom of your cursor which lets you know that there is an action to be performed.

One tip: most of the evidence you're seeking is very similar -- strands of hair, ashes, footprints, etc. Can they find enough clues and decipher the interrogations to solve the case?

The Detective Mode is a bit harder, as it has "difficult" puzzles and allows you to skip up to only 3 puzzles; but it still provides you with "guided, linear investigation.
