Luna has been summoned by Tara, her best friend, to an ancient village on a remote island. Tara needs Luna's expertise on a newly unearthed artifact that might prove the existence of the legendary cult of the Madra Alta or Wolf Man. But when she arrives the locals are acting very strangely, her friend has disappeared, and terrible clues reveal a situation beyond her worst nightmare. She must rely on her fearless wit and trusted allies to find her friend. She must dig deep into the instincts and courage of her own inner animal to defeat the Wolf King himself.
The little old strange lady was a great addition to the mix. The hint button will tell you where you need to go or what you need to do, but it won't tell you how to get there-you have to figure that out on your own. And the woman that helps you out is a hoot! Discuss with other players! The voice overs are fabulous, the plot well thought through. Dark, spooky atmosphere. The game boasts a small cast of creepy characters, who are all excellently voiced and brought to life with stunning 3D models and fluid animations. I played the casual mode but I can imagine the expert mode would be quite difficult. The story line pulls you along, and the voiceovers are very good. The hint button is truly helpful and recharges reasonable fast. I actually liked the backstory and the game play and even most of the puzzles until a couple at the end. I only wrote the review after the second time playing it. No one's written about The Beast of Lycan Isle yet. The voice overs were great, the artwork creative, the mini-games fun I don't get it?

The bonus material allows you to go back in time and change history for the better. The hints were vague, but not so much that it drove you insane. That would be my only complaint. Players will feel this absence most when they are forced to travel back and forth. Finally, the graphics were well done.
Oh, and did I mention that the giant werewolf goes hot in your wake for most of this time? Write a post! To play in in expert mode you would be clicking on everything in every scene and that is not my cup of tea. The Beast of Lycan Isle incorporates Elven Legend 4: The Incredible Journey Collectors Edition few small touches that work wonders towards giving the game a great personality and a more polished feel. In addition, items that can be used at your current location will be highlighted in blue, which saves a lot of time. I will put it aside for a few months and then play it again.

Also, It was refreshing to not have to run back and forth just to find one item, or to hold various items throughout most of the game for no particular reason. The problem here is that solving puzzles are on different pages and constantly flipping it in search of clues is not very convenient. Good speaking characters, esp. I had to skip a couple, I don't have a lot of patience figuring them out, but there were others that were really fun and not too hard.
