The music's perfect as well: dreamy, but with all the cheesy intergalactic touches that you'd hear in a 50's UFO movie on late night TV. I was surprised because I felt this game flows better than any others I've ever played. The game starts off in a fictional, glittering 's small town where a meteorite has just crashed in a field. Everything about it is top notch. Had I known there was a Collectors Edition, I would have purchased that one just for the bit of extra play. Although there are not many characters in Beyond, each of them has such rich personality that makes us want to revisit the game just for a chance to hang out with them again. It's so different from all the "cookie cutter" games of late, the storyline was captivating and I felt like I was in a movie at times. Still, those minor setbacks are overshadowed by the top-notch hidden object scenes and puzzles. But if gameplay to you is the exploring and collecting items etc then, Beyonf:, the many cut scenes might be irritating. Luckily, "Beyond" is Imperial Island: Birth of an Empire of that stellar class. At the site, she discovered Nix, who she once thought was the product of her childish imagination. The game starts off in a fictional, glittering 's small town where a meteorite has just crashed in a field. It's a great, cinematic start to the game, and the devs don't take their foot off the gas pedal as you jump on your motorcycle and head out into the dark to explore the meteorite wreckage, unearthing facts about an advanced UFO race along the way. And 'Beyond' has oodles of that! Everything that you do in "Beyond" actually leads into the action, or devolves from it in an fairly natural, un-contrived way. Very different game and fun to play. You had an imaginary friend when you were young who turned out to be an alien that's come to save the planet! And the stars look just the way they should on a s countryside night. One player wrote she found the gameplay was constantly interrupted. It was a good story and many of the puzzles were quite challenging. With each and every new series, the developer introduced us to a new theme — and Beyond, the recent release from Mad Head, is a fantastic take on the rarely-touched Sci-Fi theme.

The hidden object scenes are some of the best in the industry; many of them come with sub-scenes inside themselves, as well as some fun mini-games. No hint feature so you are on your own in the game. I like casual games because of the story that gets told while I click around. The hidden object scenes are some of the best in the industry; many of them come with sub-scenes inside themselves, as well as some fun mini-games. Wish I had purchased the CC edition. Regardless, the artwork in Beyond is amazingly drawn and painted — each game looks terrific and could make a perfect desktop wallpaper. Wonderful story with twists and turns.

  2. I highly recommend this game. No unnecessary backtracking. They certainly sound very futuristic, apart from the title track which is wonderfully retro. Would play again just to enjoy the music, ambience, and graphics. The Graphics on this game were stellar!
