When you finish it, you'll KNOW you've accomplished something hey wait, am I talking about a game or curing some dreaded disease. I love that these developers are moving away from the standard HO scenes and are adding a variety into the mix. The only complaint I have is with the map, it can be used for quick travel and doesn't show you areas of interest and you have to click on mini maps within the map for maps inside the mansion. The graphics in The Curse of Vox is simply stunning, but might not be the best the team could do as most of the scenes are on the dark side and the locations are not very creative. It's a first person game: you are the detective that's been called in to solve the murder of a rich collector who's authored a book of wishes. I found the garden to be a lot of fun and a very entertaining extra touch to the game. If there is ANYTHING at all that is a little weak about this game it's the HOP: the scenes are not cluttered but the objects, unlike most other games, are very small and the difficulty of detection is not so much a result of clever hiding but their small size. The tale begins when the sneaky little thief breaks into a home and takes the Book of Wishes. Along with the garden, there are also ghosts that you need to appease and in order to do that, you must locate the spirits which will give you a token that unseals a letter.

The HOS are good like normal some with interactive play. It seems the developers always try to one up their last version and this one doesn't disappoint. I would have to say that there game play does not change much at all, so if you have played the others then this one is on the same game plan and level. This game shows attention to detail that I have never seen before: in cut scenes, if you turn the sound off, I believe you could read the lips of the characters and know what they're saying.
