  1. Click on the mailbox again for a closer view. Click at the bottom of the left column closest to the door for a closer view. The buttons are not always placed in the same positions, so there is no step-by step solution for this puzzle. Look for the rest of the items on the list.

  2. One is on the cabinet by the back wall. Place the Gasoline Jar anywhere in the scene. Click on the door to enter the office. Certain Hidden Object scenes will require you to click on a part of the scene to uncover a hidden area. There is very little back and forth and the logical way the story progressed was very gratifying.

  3. Pick up any items on your list inside the cabinet. Place your cursor downwards to enter the Lobby. The HOS, by the way, are amazingly well done for the time this was produced , with beautiful graphics, much more vibrant than the pastels for which ERS are famous now, that can still hold their own against most games.

  4. I've downloaded another Edgar Allan Poe just recently. The Hand Icon allows you to pick up inventory items or explore certain areas. You can skip any mini-game by using the skip button in the lower right corner.

  5. The door in the back of the scene is locked. Two of them are open and one is locked. All the bottles have been highlighted in the screenshot. Pick up the Cotton Cylinder and place it on the Gasoline Jar.

  6. Place the Candle in the candleholder. I really liked the way the map worked and the lack of going back and forth, big pluses in my opinion. Because this is an older game, there are no voiceovers and no hint button outside of the HOS.

  7. Click on the top part of the safe for a closer view. The puzzles were varied and interesting, but not too hard. Pick up the keys in the tray.

  8. But it takes more than my crush on M. A single sparkle indicates an interactive area in the game. This adaptation is heavy on HOs and light on puzzles, but the HOs are among the best BigFish has to offer, and the story is classic.

  9. Inside the Park Pick up the Pickaxe inside the container on the left side of the bench. You can skip any mini-game by using the skip button in the lower right corner. You can sometimes find inventory items in these areas. You will receive the Wine Bottle in your inventory after all the items have been found. The mini games are fairly simple, most are entertaining and I haven't come across any that make you want to pull your hair out of frustration.

  10. There is nothing to pick up in this pop-up window. I love Edgar Allan Poe's stories. Drag the open Wine Bottle to the Wine Glass and let go of the bottle once it is on the glass.
