Dead Reckoning: Snowbirds Creek

As I mentioned earlier I loved this game and am now looking forward to the next offering from this team. I found most of the items to be easily identifiable and even when a scene was done with silhouettes, those were clearly depicted so the items were not overly hard to find. For those unfamiliar with this series, there are periodic interviews with a suspect where you as the detective must identify clues to determine whether or not the suspect is telling the truth. I did not like having this extra help as it changed this aspect of play to a simple exercise in mouse moving. Voices are pretty well acted, and the dialog was neither too little nor too much. However, the setting for this latest Dead Reckoning is the small mining town of Snowbird's Creek. The information for completing the puzzles was clear so at least when I was stuck I had a good idea where to begin. Anyway, it is so colorful and flows so well that time went by while I was not paying attention, which is good when I need something to keep me from being bored. Take a chance members. Dead Reckoning: Broadbeach Cove has a rock-solid gameplay, despite not being revolutionary. There are also morphing objects but they tend to morph relatively fast, so always be on the lookout for them! The scenes have a nice design with the items easy to locate and no eye problems afterwards. The story is nice and comes as a breath of fresh air compared to stories of other recent HOPAs and it also unfolds nicely, even though you will do quite a bit of back-tracking during your adventure. The suspects include the local sheriff, the mayor, the labor union leader, and a tavern owner and shopkeeper. I will start by saying what I like to say each time I play a new game in this series: Eipix have done it again!

The main game itself is fairly long and the story held my interest despite the items described above. Worth all the pennies!! I am a big fan of Eipix and their Dead Reckoning series and I have shared with my impressions on the previous game in the series. I like this series, and was glad to see a new game was release. No devils, demons, etc.. The bonus chapter is as entertaining as the main game, and adds up to the total length of around five hours. There is a high pitched sound whenever the mouse hovers over buttons which became quite annoying as the game wore on. For those unfamiliar with this series, there are periodic interviews with a suspect where you as the detective must identify clues to determine whether or not the suspect is telling the truth. The story is nice and comes as a breath of fresh air compared to stories of other recent HOPAs and it also unfolds nicely, even though you will do quite a bit of back-tracking during your adventure. It's a buy for me for sure. It might not be groundbreaking, and definitely not as exceptional as the original game in the series - but it achieves what it came to do, which is to entertain. Yes, they may be a bit cookie-cutter to some but at least this developer strives to excel when presenting a game. The CE package is very good with collectibles, morphing objects, achievements, a strategy guide, bonus chapter, souvenir room, other goodies and the ability to replay the HOPs and mini-games. Really liked this game! Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by momeese from 5 stars..

Rated 5 out of 5 by skullfun from Dead Reckoning 5 delivers another great adventure! I did find one problem with the sounds however. As I mentioned earlier I loved this game and am now looking forward to the next offering from this team. One unique Dead Reckoning feature we have always liked is the investigation of murder scenes and the interrogation of characters. CE extras - beside the strategy guide and somewhat short bonus chapter there is a souvenir room with 29 items, 13 morphing objects hard to spot! The color palette includes a lot of browns and golds no surprise there but the scenes manage to maintain a bright look. If you missed any morphs you can get them in the replay. The scenes have a nice design with the items easy to locate and no eye problems afterwards. There is certainly a lot to do in each location and some of the tasks are actually quite clever, the level of challenge is also reasonable. Anyway, it is so colorful and flows so well that time went by while I was not paying attention, which is good when I need something to keep me from being bored. Second, you will have to think out of the box a little when using inventory items. For those unfamiliar with this series, there are periodic interviews with a suspect where you as the detective must identify clues to determine whether or not the suspect is telling the truth. Eipix welcomes us back to the chart-topping Dead Reckoning series with another intriguing murder case. For everybody else, this will prove to be a good game, with a nice focus on the adventure side.

First, there is a total of only 13 HO scenes in the game with M-3 option vs. It's a buy for me for sure. However, the setting for this latest Dead Reckoning is the small mining town of Snowbird's Creek. It is the same with all of the TM games I have played — there is not much that differs from game to game. The storyline was a refreshing change from Bears Dream weird fantasy type games. If you are prospecting for a game and like this series, you may find this to be an interesting nugget. There is nothing bad to say I love hidden object for sure. You are invited to investigate Sparkle 2 murder at the Broadbeach Flowers Garden Solitaire, but the more you uncover about the case, the more you realize the tragedy and heartache behind his death. I was pleasantly surprised after reading many so-so reviews. Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by pgillenw from It is Deserving of 5-Stars I truly enjoyed the game, played it twice.

  1. The color palette includes a lot of browns and golds no surprise there but the scenes manage to maintain a bright look. If you missed any morphs you can get them in the replay. This is the basis for the genre and it is not often that we see something different. There is nothing bad to say I love hidden object for sure.

  2. It's a buy for me for sure. The story is nice and comes as a breath of fresh air compared to stories of other recent HOPAs and it also unfolds nicely, even though you will do quite a bit of back-tracking during your adventure. This developer is one of my favorites and almost always presents an excellent, well put together HOPA game. The storyline comes as an added bonus, so do give this a try as soon as possible, use a free game coupon even!!!

  3. Nonetheless, it is still interesting enough to hold our attention from start to finish. Two other things to note about the play. The storyline comes as an added bonus, so do give this a try as soon as possible, use a free game coupon even!!!

  4. In this series:. Take a chance members. There was also an overwhelming amount of unnecessary sunbeams and effects alike. There was no new ground broken with either, but they are on a level with most other similar games in other words fairly easy. There is nothing bad to say I love hidden object for sure.

  5. There are also morphing objects but they tend to morph relatively fast, so always be on the lookout for them! This developer is one of my favorites and almost always presents an excellent, well put together HOPA game. Yes, the mini-games were fairly easy but some were more challenging. It is true that Eipix still delivers some amazing sights in this game — many of the scenes were honestly stunning and the cutscenes were extremely impressive. For everybody else, this will prove to be a good game, with a nice focus on the adventure side.
