Maze: Subject opened with a lot of promise, and immediately we knew that this game is a strong contender for the Game of the Year status. In fact, I played it in one sitting because I just couldn't tear myself away from it. The music score was awesome, it played the right pieces just a the perfect moments to fit the suspense, creepy, or calm moments. It is very exciting to see this evolution of casual gaming. This game was fantastic, I hope there will be a part II someday. As for the gameplay, Maze is rather simple actually. In fact, I played it in one sitting because I just couldn't tear myself away from it. I loved it! The puzzles are good, a little bit on the easy side sometimes I would like to see integrated in this type of game puzzles that are more like the "door puzzles" of the Mystery Case Files series. There's so much more to this game than what the demo implies, yet it delivers all the way through. I loved this game! The puzzles were interwoven so well with the whole plot that I felt like they belonged there. The story gripped me and kept my interested all the way through. The majority of the game is very dark, in a moody way and not to the point that we need to strain our eyes. I really hope we see a sequel of some sort, and a special shout out to this developer who gave us a game geared for thinking adults. The HOPs were fun; not very difficult.

So your low rating is not fair. The graphics are top-notch, all the locations are interesting to investigate and all Sparkle 2 special effects are expertly done. I've never played a game where I wanted to get through the hidden object scenes as quickly as possible so I could get to the next step and find out what's going to happen next! Unfortunately, after we entered the second chapter, this psychological thriller kind of turned into another good-vs-evil themed game, which is less fascinating. Was this game entertaining? This game is excellent and has a lot of original aspects incorporated in the gameplay -- and yet I think we are just beginning to tap into these new possibilities; I really look forward to what the future will bring from developpers such as Mad Head and Goblinz.

If you're not afraid of a little fright then get this game. It plays like a typical HOPA game, focusing on the adventure part with some hidden object scenes and puzzles thrown in.   2. Even though there were some creepy, jump out of my seat moments there were moments were the scenes changed and became bright and cheery, adding a calm after being kept on my toes for a bit. The storyline was fantastic! I am so fed up with fairy tales, princesses, cute fuzzy friends and pretty flowers and gems If you're not afraid of a little fright then get this game.

  5. I cannot wait to play the other two games in this series, and I hope they continue with many more games, as well. Was this game scary? I am happy this game brings me new fun.   9. I was thinking that this game is not good but when I played it, it was outstanding. I didn't find all the morph so I went back and got them in the bonus Hops. It is the creepiest game I have ever played. It sure was a fun ride.
