The demo is not very long, so it is difficult to ascertain the quality of this game; however, it did pique my interest enough to purchase it. I enjoyed this demo very much and will be buying the CE for sure. Even though the puzzles were not extremely challenging, I still enjoyed them. Maybe Or Not! I base my reviews mainly on the story and I felt that this one fell short Exition this series. Your family was about to perform one of their biggest Irish dancing shows when a banshee appeared and destroyed your plans. Objects to find on most screens. Rotating tiles puzzle. Danse Macabre: Curse of the Banshee hooked us in right away with its engaging storyline that is partly a detective mystery, and partly a paranormal phenomena. I Legendary Mahjong like the Irish theme to the game and the folk tales that may evolve during gameplay. The graphics and characters were excellent, as were the Dande. With a sub-standard production and a dull gameplay, we can only hope that the Dznse gets better next time around. Danse Macabre: Curse of the Collectrs is yet another cookie-cutter game from Eipix, with minimal creativity Sparkle 2 the game mechanics. Finally, there is a silhouette scene.

This is my new favorite game by Eipix. This one kept me on my toes! Curse of the Banshee is the eighth game in the series and from what I played in the demo, it promises to be an excellent game. I've always found the HOGs in my other Danse Macabre games to be very good and this game presented the same quality. Sometimes the Danse Macabre games are hit and miss but the last two games have been quite good. The graphics are beautiful capturing the spirit of Irish Step Dancing. However it quickly becomes less than I've seen in the series or by Eipix. Date published: Rated 4 out of 5 by bjdjtjbjd from Based on the entire game plus bonus game. I have hundreds of games and I take a chance when they go on sale. The demo seemed to be pretty short even with doing all the puzzles, it said I had 45 minutes left. Everything in normal color. The remainder of the extra content is fairly standard with a bonus chapter, page strategy guide, wallpapers, concept art, music, replay of HOPS and puzzles, and a souvenir room. Yet, the story was a tear jerker, that is, if you're a mother!

The story line kept my interest. I have really enjoyed other games in this series; and the free part starts off strong. Locate 6 wheel stokes. The graphics and characters were excellent, as were the voice-overs. Starting at a beginning point, Macabrw: a line going through all points on the rope without retracing your steps. I found Cuese distracting to have the actual character still standing in the scene without moving at Defense of Greece. Very interesting story all Indian Legends Solitaire way to the end. The dance tokens must be in the green area before they are counted as a hit. Several tracks are haunting, with harps and bagpipes. I feel it's easy to navigate through.

Some of the songs reminded me of the movie Titanic. I found the scenes interesting to play and very well crafted with maybe a few new touches. The music was not always up to my taste, I prefer tunes that are motivating and uplifting. I hope I did NOT spoil too much of the story. Rotate tiles to create a figure consisting of only straight lines. The puzzles were challenging just enough to hold my interest. It took me 6 min. Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by cherleadford from So Very Enjoyable How refreshing to play a wonderful game with such crisp graphics. Even the hidden object scenes and the puzzles, which are usually the saving grace of Eipix games, are compromised by simplicity. The graphics and characters were excellent, as were the voice-overs. That actually sums up everything about this game - erratic. Place notes on a music sheet according to a given diagram.

The HOPS are ok, although erratic difficulty levels. I would normally pick off a couple of rating pegs for this sad story a tad too sad but the fact there were no fantasy monsters or bizarre things in a mystery genre made me add them back. There are four modes of gameplay including the custom level where hints recharge in a range of 10 to seconds and puzzle skips can be set in a range of 10 to seconds. Most of the scenes are in gorgeous outdoor locations. This review was given after game completion. Finally, there is a silhouette scene. The standard EIPIX scene returns which involves locating five of two items following by a list of items. Morphing objects to collect. The story was very gripping and well told, graphics are fantastic, gameplay smooth. Looking forward to our next new release and hope it's a goody! I am sure it will not be a disappointment! You reopen each of the 30 gorgeous scenes in this game and hunt for one object in the scene.

Locate 6 wheel stokes. There are 9 downloadable tracks and each is longer than most gaming DL. I found the scenes interesting to play and very well crafted with maybe a few new touches. Very interesting story all the way to the end. Souvenir Room 6 min unlocks after bonus play ends Total gameplay- 3 hrs. Graphics are good. In this series:. They are creatively designed and easy. The HOP scenes are varied and excellent although there is nothing new. I base my reviews mainly on the story and I felt that this one fell short for this series. Chapter 4 also has an aerial type maze over a garden that you must direct your character past baddies through, in 3 different scenes. B Mini-HOP scene.

It is always fun to come across a puzzle in a HOPA game that is something new because it presents a new challenge to the game. Technical aspects of the game include excellent graphics and realistic voiceovers and soundtrack.
