Take on the role of Adonia, an up and coming goddess, and overcome numerous challenges in your quest for immortality. The journey begins on Mount Olympus where on accepting to undergo the trials of the Guardian you are swept away to your first challenge. Use your keen power of observation to find and assemble artifacts that lay hidden among ancient and exotic scenes in Goddess Chronicles, a fun Hidden Object game.

I was not impressed. I like the story of the twin priestesses on the small island and how the twin's story is later being related to the tale of Izanami, originally Mother Goddess of All who eventually became the Goddess of the Underworld, I especially like how the Goddess eventually became 'a true goddess' view spoiler [ a true destroyer hide spoiler ] at the end of the book. Even when I got all of the objects turned green, I apparently wasn't finished. I also like how love, grudge and hopeless longing between male and female characters eventually came to rest at the end of the book. Try this game you may like it. It is very thinky, and I love it. I have replayed it several times and still want to play it again. I'm sorry, but I found this game frustrating. Shelves: supernatural-stuff , pretty-good , wish-i-could-write-like-this , chinese-translation It's an outstanding retelling of the Japanese Creation Myth of Izanami and Izanaki. A couple of those detours, and you become very careful to click only on stuff you need. The hot zones are also very sensitive to placement of the cursor. I was also extremely unimpressed with tiny area allowed for touching the objects.

The objects are very hard to Goddess Chronicles, and when you do find an object or piece of an Sparkle 2 if you are not almost perfectly located over the right pixel, you are penalized and very quickly sent to the idiot room for remedial clicking I was also extremely unimpressed with tiny area allowed for touching the objects.

It took some time to find some of the objects as they were small and sometimes hard to discern from the drawing around it. I had to use the "Skip" feature for each of them. What do you mean I can't use hint to do anything but look for objects!? It took me about 5 trips to the woodshed to begin to master the art of hitting the hot spot bulls eye the first or second time. Music is good a very relaxing. The plot was so thin it could very well have not even been there. What do I do next? The art is good but this game's an exercise in frustration. I found that it made the items a little easier to find. I even enjoyed the mini games I played before I conceded defeat. Overall it was a fun game.

It took me about 5 trips to the woodshed to begin to master the art of hitting the hot spot bulls eye the first or second time. As mentioned else where, this game is just too senesitive to the exact placement of the cursor. Most games will penalize you if you click a few times in quick succession on wrong items, but with this game you get just one chance, and then an error message and a shaking screen comes to tell you not to click on objects that are not on the list. While I understand what she was trying to get at with the ending, it seems forced and I'm not sure it makes much sense.

The object of the game is to find pieces of artifacts, assemble them to solve puzzles -- Great, I love that sort of game.

But it's an above-average HOG, with some challenging mini-games. And the reminder every time you made a wrong click was very annoying.

The action, once we get to, can also be repetitive -- I kept thinking: please give the reader some credit -- though I'm willing to speculate that perhaps some of the fault is with the translation.
