7 Wonders II

Journey back in time with the 7 Wonders series to when magnificent structures were being built in far away lands. Enjoy challenging match-3 game play in a newly enhanced interactive environment where you not only learn about marvelous new wonders such as Stonehenge and Taj Mahal, but also watch them come to life piece by piece before your very eyes.

It's just a bunch of noise. You also get to actually direct the construction of the Wonder instead of just passively watching it be built in the background while you play. Also, you miss a lot of the graphic content because the game is on a clock and cuts off before you can see the background activity. However, if you feel like killing some time and getting lost in tile-matching, this game can provide that and teach you about history at the same time. Some are based on language or math and science. To sum up, I can't see this game appealing to anyone much over the age of 6. When a developer improves on an already excellent game, all I can say is Whoo-Whoo! If all the maps are collected, at the end of the game we have our secret wonder to play! I don't know why, but after I upgraded to Windows 10, it just stopped working and nothing I've tried made it come back. I enjoyed the challenge of building points without regard to the overall game length. Each time you match sets of runes, they break into stones that fall into the waiting arms of workers below, who then use them to construct the Wonders. This time in 7 Wonders 2, you are transported to the Wonders of the Forgotten World. Not this one.
