All in all, clear, lovely, fun - easy to use and really pleasant way of doing griddlers from fans of the game and for people who may be trying them out for the first time. Every time you solve a puzzle, they fill in the clues and when you finish the group they tell you who did it. Well, I think that's the wrong game, but this one's just as fun! Where you mark a filled square with a lovely candy colour, you mark an empty square with a push-pin, you can't get clearer or less confusing. I completed the first case to do a review, so I haven't completed the whole game.

It is still fun to fill in the grid and try to solve the puzzle. Storyline was very simplistic and the game play could have been much more challenging. Whether it is because some of the colors are so close in shade or just poor renditions of objects I don't know, or just may be both. Has anyone mentioned that, when you first click "Play," you are offered two levels? The graphics aren't wonderful as you can see from the illustrations but don't let that stop you. And, off we go! It's not too intensive so you can go and concentrate on your game of tennis or packing a beach bag. Each grid uses three different colors for the squares. It was hard to differentiate between some of them. I will purchase this game and will enjoy playing it over a long period of time. The level of challenge wasn't tough on the first case, but I've played a gazillion griddlers and you do get a feel for them. Hidden Clues 2 Miami is a welcome edition to the fold I haven't played Hidden Clues 1, so I'm going to hunt that down.

This is a multiple colour picture in the grid, so you have Sparkle 2 or three patterns to switch between, which really helps clue wise. This game has 10 mysteries to solve, and 12 puzzles in each mystery levels. If you really like mosaics, you might enjoy this. My major complaint would be that the grid pictures once completed are as clear as mud. It was hard to differentiate between some of them. Write a post! However, each case has a "gender puzzle" which produces either the male or the female sign, and an age puzzle which produces a number--which gets rather repetitive after the first few cases. You play against a timer. There is no confusion about whether a space is full, empty, or "I dunno yet. This particular game is not very good at all.

I loved the sound when you marked the squares, really xylophone stylee. A specific number of mistakes are allowed for each grid. I never had to use one of my hints, and I played the Expert level. I hope to see more of these in the future, maybe more difficult and higher resolution pictures, too. Some of the puzzles are extremely difficult--at least I found them so! What I enjoyed - very crisp clear colours, so visually pleasing and no eye strain. If you're a Mosaic, Griddler fan, or a fan of detective solving crimes, this game will knock your socks off, enjoy!   2. Every time you solve a puzzle, they fill in the clues and when you finish the group they tell you who did it. You can choose Casual which crosses off the numbers one by one, or Advanced which crosses off numbers when the entire column or row is complete. There are two modes of play, casual and advanced.
