This game has everything I am looking for in an HOG. Related Stories. Zoom in on the container by the stump. Move the cloth to uncover a cabinet. Have fun! If you are an experienced HOG player, looking for something a little different, but fun, with an involving story line, then I fully believe you will love this game. Zoom in on the trapdoor opening. Zoom in on the patterned floor tile. I loved the mini games and as a puzzle lover, was satisfied with how many there were as sometimes I don't find there are enough. Examine the floor hatch. Move the shield 2 to uncover the Quiver Portwl arrows. Go down and forward twice. Go to the Wine Fashion Fits!. Go down and right to the Laboratory. Look at the statue on the right. I'm glad. Brilliant colors shade to moody monotones as the tone of the game changes. Note the two center books have edges along the sides to show they are end books.

Play the hidden object scene by the statue on the left. Go forward. Zoom in on the statue. You have completed playing Portal of Evil: Stolen Runes. Go up the stone steps on the side of the mountain. One solution is shown in the next screenshot. Open the case on the dashboard; take the KEY. Look inside the nook below the fire for an additional placement area. Look closer at the path. Diary, Map and Messages The diary icon is in the lower left of the screen and is updated regularly with story information and hints for solving puzzles. The map is probably the best part about this game though. Follow the yellow arrows to trace the triangle. The graphics and animation are impeccable.

  1. This guide completes tasks in the most efficient way possible. But there is nothing extra special like achievements or collectibles although there are 15 notes from your grandfather to collect, but they are also in the SG , which is a shame. Zoom in on the container by the stump. It was awesome.

  3. Take the gold holder to add the message holder to the screen and receive the first Message. I have to say I enjoyed this game a lot more than I originally thought I would. Play the hidden object scene in the shelves on the left. Take the Message cylinder by the left bridge post. In some ways it feels like a throwback to The DaVinci Code, only with a little more adrenaline and a lot more fire-spewing hellbeasts.

  4. I also said to myself that the items were a little difficult to see because they are small. Exit the pit; go down and forward twice. Open the Map; go to the Portal room. Click the images along the path of the arrows to reach the yellow-highlighted tile.

  5. The graphics were amazing, the music was beautiful and I am even thrilled with the pointer which is one of the best I have ever seen. Click the Map tab on the skull at any time to open the map. Look at the dome. The beginning position is shown on the left and their ending letter is on the right. Consult the game diary for story information, playing hints and tips to solve puzzles.

  6. Look at the table inside the hut. I liked the challenge and I loved the variety but I am a huge fan of putting back the items in general in hidden object games. They are not too hard and I never needed to skip, and they were FUN.

  7. Raise the arm with the lightning bolt, face the head forward and lower the other arm. The bonus chapter was well worth the extra, as well. The next screenshot shows the locations of all the coins.

  8. The map is interactive as it always shows you where an action is available, and allows you to fast travel. There are regular "seek and find" items from a list. At least, until you run into demons and stuff! Bonus Adventure: Capture the traitor.

  9. You can also replay the puzzles and mini-games, and there are the usual offerings of wallpapers and such. Put the buckle 1 on the shoe 2 to create a Shoe with a buckle.
