This is brought to life by high-quality graphics and some top-notch animations. There is much to do. Replay 29 movies, 10 hops, 14 mini-games and 5 music. I played without the commenting hints about tasks and there was enough choice about what to do next to make it a little harder. A really fun game. Moves along fast. The detective has her job cut out for her trying to sift through the scallywags and the hornswoggler's to find out if the ghost of the pirate captain known as the "Storm of Seas" has really returned to the Reef of Death to enact revenge upon all who live. The achievements are nice.

Bonus Chapter: CE version only Karen Mulheron receives a letter from her fiance stating he is held prisoner on the Ghost Ship and gives her instructions to help free him in this average-length chapter that takes place over 8 Scene Locations. Very brief synopsis: you are a detective called to assist a town, where a revengeful pirate is murdering the townspeople but you don't know why. The amulet tells the history and stops time when you put in a pretty crystal. There definitely could have been more creativity put into the location designs, but just like other Edge of Reality installments , it is difficult to fault when every single location is beautifully drawn and painted. It has an interesting story, nice and shocking surprises, it has gorgeous graphics, it has nice minigames, the music is perfect, the voiceovers are perfect - it is very entertaining and just a perfect game. The Amulet is used to "Stop" time so you can save yourself from the danger by playing a Hidden Objects Scene to find multiples of 2 different objects, and it is used 5 different times in the main chapter. Thankfully, 4 Friends has abandoned my puzzle nemesis of 1 affects others only 1 towards the end Some of the puzzles are available in a Casual or Hard Mode of difficulty but honestly, most of the puzzles are easily solved on the first attempt. It's a pirate's tale. Gameplay-wise, Edge of Reality: Mark of Fate is fairly predictable. Games were relatively easy but not mindnumbing. The scenes were boring and the items were very easy to spot, once again, I found most of the items without looking at the list! I am horrible at morphing objects but enjoyed finding the fish which were not easy to see and the objects which added a degree of difficulty without detracting from the storyline. There is an Amulet Gadget whose keeper explains the backstory of the Pirate Captain whenever you find and replace each of the 5 missing Crystals. Outstanding graphics. If you prefer more challenges, you'll likely get bored quickly with this one. If you're a beginner, this is definitely a great game. There definitely could have been more creativity put into the location designs, but just like other Edge of Reality installments , it is difficult to fault when every single location is beautifully drawn and painted.   7. There is a gadget but it goes with this series and it gives you background story as well as saving you life several times. Is he trustworthy? The scenes are nicely drawn.
