There was too much back and forth for me and I would have loved an interactive map, but that's a minor complaint. I loved the way I felt while playing this HOG game I had a few other minor problems with the game. The hint button gives real hints - not just tells you what to do next. Took me about 4 hours to play because I read everything and took my time, loved every minute, the developers obviously cared. It's a longer game but I never felt like it was dragging or dragging the story out to make it longer. You don't have your basic puzzles like sliders or string puzzles thank goodness - another refreshing point about this game. I particularly liked the fairies. Not too many hidden object games, but rather a nice blend of games and puzzles. Near the beginning, your character discovers the body of a crew member - don't worry, I'm not spoiling anything - and she calls him "Hank. The puzzles were few, but the ones you do encounter are fun and interesting. This game could have been phenomenal with voiceovers, as there was quite a bit of dialogue in the game.

The characters are varied - from the people to the mystical fairies to the witch As a result, the game became addictive as I just had to save the day!! You can choose to you don't have to find 42 story pieces, which at the end of the game, you can put together in your journal like jigsaw puzzles and read more about the story behind Arcelia. Sparkle 2 do these all Secrsts in common? The hint button gives real hints - not just tells you what to do next. This is quite refreshing after so many creepy, gloomy tales of death, despair, insane asylums, and other factors of weirdness. There is not any voice Sparkle 2 so I had to read the script and journal, which I found contained a wonderful Secrfts. You find your way to the shores of Arcelia Island, which you thought was a fairy tale your whole life, and find your father alive I had left the The Secrets of Arcelia Island for over a week or Laruaville 8 and forgot where I was and what I was doing!

Speaking of inventory items, sometimes what you thought you should be using, you couldn't and when you could use it, it seemed a little farfetched. There was a lot of going back and forth through the locales in order to complete tasks. The puzzles were few, but the ones you do encounter are fun and interesting. There were occasions when I wasn't quite sure what to do next, which meant wandering about until I found a hidden object area, someone to talk to, or that I simply realized what I had in my inventory could be used in a certain spot.

One never tires of good vs. Even though the graphics aren't perfect and the HOS aren't interactive I like the structure of this game, with a lot of backtracking, collectible notes and no sparkles in advanced mode. I came across this little jewel while searching for something different. Looking forward to more like this! They were not extremely hard either, but I did include detailed instructions, screenshots, and a few videos for you.

  10. Then, you encounter an evil sorceress, who warns you to leave the island or you'll die a horrible death. Some commented on the back and forth of switching scenes, but that added to the fun. I do recommend this game.
