Crime Secrets: Crimson Lily is a captivating blend of hidden object challenges, puzzle solving and daring detective work. When a grim murder interrupts a private detective's vacation at the very gate to the hotel at which she was going to stay, she puts her plans for R&R on hold and sets out to do what she does best: solve violent crimes. All she has to go on is a single clue: a mysterious paper lily attached to the victim's frozen body. Could it be the killer's calling card?

The voiceovers were okay not the greatest. For standard edition games, this one is a winner. The AM style is there, the soundtrack is there, but the brains have all been replaced by straw and stuffing. Battle Slots graphics are not fantastic, but not awful. It had a lot of twists and turns It's nice to see a decent SE game more often. As mysteries tend to be, the plot was a bit convoluted, but I enjoyed the red herrings and overall it was a satisfying experience. There are 4 modes of play: casual; advanced; expert and custom. In regard Battle Slots this particular game, the Detective displayed a strong presence, which leads more credibility to her role. There are a huge variety of mini-games to play. The game was mediocre and I gave it lower stars for the cussing. I had NO problems with the game. No one needs a more expensive way of watching television. You then have to find clues within the scene.
And animation is not altogether realistic, but somewhat flattened. Hidden object scenes were okay. The forest is noisy, you are driving on the highway to the hotel, no insidious villains and terrible secrets. When you've selected a clue, the item you need to find is uncovered. Move your cursor around the rCimson to locate the clues and clear the list. And we seriously need to get away from those opening vehicle crashes. I have a funny suspicion, though, that the killer may not be who we Battle Slots lead to believe but then again, I could be wrong. They were not so difficult that you wanted to hit the SKIP button, but still challenging enough that you felt good just by accomplishing them IMO. I do believe they lost me in the story. The music is ok, unobtrusive but not noteworthy. Lines may not cross each other, and you must use up all spots on the grid. You are passed by a police car driving even faster than you on the icy road in a snow storm. I was pretty disappointed in it. The items that you need to find are covered up. If you have played the 9 Clues games before, this game is very similar - but I think this is the best of them all. NO ghosts, no evil villains, no witches or magic spells
