Dark Realm: Princess of Ice

Mad Head presents the exciting continuation of the Dark Realm story line! This time, a magic bear summons you to help save the neighboring kingdom of Nypha. Find out what has Nypha and its princess trapped in a death grip of cold. As a fire-wielder, you have a few tricks up your sleeve, but the bear's given you some special abilities too! You'll be thrilled by the fun new Match-3 mechanic and enjoy adventurous interactions along the way.

Everything about this game was top notch, you can tell the developers poured their heart and soul into this game! I manage to crash into every obstacle along the way in these types of puzzles so I generally hit the skip button as soon as I can. I have to go back and look at some of the other games by Mad Hat I may have not purchased yet. With the help of a young apprentice named Borivor who sacrifices his human form to also aid in saving the princess, Chob'Ahn the wizard, and Myrina your spiritual guide, you make your way to the Den of Awakening. Fort Defenders: Seven Seas your magic bracelet becomes a Frozen Claw which has many uses thru the course of the quest. One of the best. I am sure I have most of them. So all in all It's big at Halloween Night Mahjong four or more hours long for the average play, it's gorgeous with beautifully illustrated characters and environments, and it's packed with puzzles, mini-games, and cut scenes galore. And I'm back to a 5. I was so sad when this game ended I would have loved to play for many more hours! Happily the senior artist finished his lunch break and resumed command. Great production values I especially enjoyed the train interiorwonderful characters and voice acting, mostly interesting puzzles though throwing in a Simon puzzle toward the end was a cheap shot and other surprises. The puzzles also have quite a bit of variety but I have to admit that early on there is one of the type that I dislike where we must avoid obstacles as Moonsouls: Echoes of the Past Collectors Edition speed race along a path. Great gameplay and storyline. Mad Hat you are my favorite of the developers. Admittedly, there are times when the game might lean a bit too hard on gimmicks over actual thinky puzzles, such as repeatedly having you time clicks to hit a certain section of a circle to succeed at acts of skill throughout the game, but there's just so much going on Darm hard to really mind. The story line was interesting, the characters were very well done, the bonus chapter added information that made the main game mean more, the games were good - a Prinxess good game! It Dark Realm: Princess of Ice to incroporate all the aspects of HO games that make them enjoyable and it certainly taxes the brain.

This is an terrific follow up to the Dark Realm: Queen of Flames. If they give out awards for sound in games then Princess of Ice would have my vote for best sound package in a game this year.   4. I am just sorry the apprentice did not get his human form back. It took about 3 hours to complete but was well worth the time. It didn't really give alot of instructions which at first was a little annoying but I came to see that as the challenge and enjoyed it even more.

  5. The interactive transporter type map that is available at the beginning of the game and it will help us travel quickly from one area to another. Would certainly recommend this one. Great story including the "twist" in the Bonus Chapter.

I found the storyline to be very good and, although the theme is redundant and has been presented many times, I knew right away that Princess of Ice would be a game that I would love.
