Midnight Macabre: Mystery of the Elephant - Walkthrough part 3

Items too small. Dialogue poor in parts with words left out of sentences and voices lacking in realistic expression. Mouse worked on active areas extremely slowly - in 3-match parts it was nearly impossible to get enough points, because it did not switch diamonds half of the time. Don't have anything good to really say about this one except that the title sure was misleading and the game quite a let down. I would have given this game a higher rating because the story is good and there are plenty of HOS and mini games, but, every time I used the map to travel to a different location, it took forever leaving me staring at a black screen. It could have been a great little game, but the items you're meant to find - even outside of the HOGs - are tiny, and that's a real bug-bear of mine. Generally developers want the free part to be good enough to entice a potential customer to purchase the game Graphics left a lot to be desired.. I have a headache after playing the demo, which truth be told, I quit after I go to the combination lock. But as I said, try it first and you may feel otherwise. HOS some objects were very small and real dark areas. My hunch is that they knew it was terrible, and certainly not worthy of the Big Fish, or they'd have led with a CE. This is an SE. Those who have gotten that far will no doubt understand.

Your task, the boy says, is to get a certain cross artifact and use it to defeat the vampire and get your daughter back. I think with a lot of tweaking and work, this could be a good game. The elephant and robber die, but what emerges is an evil vampire who forces the boy to kidnap children. This is just a standard edition game so there aren't any collectibles or morphs, but it does offer a bonus section that can only be accessed by purchasing so unfortunately there's no info on what that might be yet. It starts out slow and boring but after a few minutes it is addictive. When you awake, your daughter telephones and tells you she is trapped in a castle, before ringing off with a terrifying or not "Ahhhhhhhhh! There is Helen and her daughter strolling through the park. Then we see this creepy boy appear, a vortex and both Helen and her daughter disappear, but apparently not to the same place. The game doesn't open in widescreen, no option to change that. The HOS were blurry and on the dark side. The game is absolutely ZERO fun. Cursor did not change when I clicked off the custom mode. Everything was very dark, indicators of things to do were not easily found, too many things to do were at the very bottom of the screen, HOs were dark and way too small, and game did not interact well and slow to respond. Suffice to say, after having encountered the safe I gave up after several attempts and decided that nothing about this game peaks my interest and will I call it a day. It's dark, the graphics of the spectres is really poor at times, and there are really sad bits in it.

The game is clumsy and not particularly interesting. Voice overs are a bit silly and unrealistic. While the story had lots of potential Ricochet Lost Worlds did not seem to be developed well. I had to skip one of them. There is a slaughter of Mjdnight beautiful pet by a hideous demon, there are bugs in the Elelhant object games, and there were ants crawling around the castle for no reason that was obvious to me. Besides the appallingly convoluted story, the game itself is very mediocre. Midnight Macabre: Mystery of the Elephant folks this is not for me, but I do hope to see more of these developers in the hopes of Midngiht. You have to use a flashlight to find the objects in a dark room, even with Chef Solitaire: USA flashlight, the scene is still a bit too dark to really find and see the objects. It starts out slow and boring but after a few minutes it is addictive. I have a headache after playing the demo, which truth be told, Lf quit after I go to the combination lock. However I cannot say the same about this one. Well, the rest was much worse. It's dark, the graphics of the spectres is really poor at times, and there are really sad bits in it.

There is no journal. Don't buy it. But now I cannot recommend, sorry only if you do not mind. Graphics left a lot to be desired.. I thought the drawing and artwork were fine, done in a realistic style. This game has potential, but I think the developers missed some important game things like: Good instructions for mini-games, labeling items in the inventory -- rather than having to keep clicking on them to get the label for them -- hidden object scenes are too dark and objects difficult to see. The hidden object scenes were more difficult than the standard game, owing to a darker palette and partially hidden objects. Sorry folks, but it is just a very poorly made HOPA game with an ambiguous story and my eyes just cant take much more. Date published: Rated 2 out of 5 by eteach from Too Slow!! The graphics are just OK. There are a lot of mini games as well, although nothing new, they are classic puzzles such as matching the bottom to the top teeth of a lock or jumping three tiles from the bottom to the top and the top tiles to the bottom by jumping over tiles. But wait I am getting ahead of myself. I had gone back, re-entered a new profile and then chose the easiest mode to allow for the hint button which I have to say has very limited use.

All I can say is that the Mom in this story doesn't seem all that upset. In the very first HOP one of the listed items to find is a lamp. Date published: Rated 2 out of 5 by esteroverde from Very Disappointed! I had to skip one of them. She was kidnapped by Cursed House elephant oh yes and now little evil vampire tries suck her soul and revive his Mystdry parents, which were murdered long ago.

This time, he takes a child and unwittingly her mother too. Anyway, after 3 hours i'm done with this, and it is a really big deal, so solve the problem, hug my daughter once again. So who are they? Don't buy it. It sounded like it would be a good game The blurb describing this game sounded so promising. The hints recharge quickly easy level played but don't always help much. It always brings out the animal in a mom and we see just how fierce moms can be when you mess with their kids. Those who have gotten that far will no doubt understand. Confusion wasn't cleared up in a timely manner, so I began to lose interest in her and her diary. I like to be positive about as much as I can, but it's just as important to give others the heads-up about the not so good ones Didn't like having to kill this fish and then his guts falling out! Date published: Rated 3 out of 5 by catsaunty from dark dated and dreary game is very hard on the eyes being very dark and ho scenes are very small, game seemed really dated although the concept of the game was ok if a bit overdone certainly wont be buying it not even with a credit Date published: Rated 2 out of 5 by hibc60 from glad to see others that didn't like this one was really trying to enjoy this one and was till I got toward the end where I had to do the spin thing. Well now, this could have been much better!

  1. The special effects in this game, the howling wolf, the creepy music, the demonic little boy with a haunting story, the beautiful graphics, and the mother searching for her child, made it a buy for me. About the only good thing I can say is that it had a good interactive map. Your task, the boy says, is to get a certain cross artifact and use it to defeat the vampire and get your daughter back. The graphics remind me of water color paintings rather blurry ones and the misnamed objects a light bulb is not a "lamp" in my vocabulary didn't help my enjoyment. There are a lot of mini games as well, although nothing new, they are classic puzzles such as matching the bottom to the top teeth of a lock or jumping three tiles from the bottom to the top and the top tiles to the bottom by jumping over tiles.

  2. The scenes also do not close automatically when finished, you have to close them. I wasn't impressed with the graphics either. Dialogue poor in parts with words left out of sentences and voices lacking in realistic expression. It's dark, the graphics of the spectres is really poor at times, and there are really sad bits in it.

  3. Seem like a game from way back. Thankfully I got to use the hint button which saved me precious time. Music eerie but had little effect on the story or excitement about it.
