In fact, the entire second chapter from what I can recall, told me nothing more about the plot, I knew as much about the plot entering the Dnna chapter as I Donna Brave: And the Deathly Tree Collectors Edition towards the end of the Bubble Shooter Adventures The game drags Mahjong Business Style there is very little action. Date published: Rated 3 out of 5 by ninja from Lots of sleuthing, but little action Donna Brave returns, and it's not much better. Mahjong Magic Journey even spelt 'Donna' wrong in the dialogue, that is how much effort was put into it. And as the tree is growing and destroying the house, you, playing as Donna, all but cuddle up to it, until you get one of the leaves that guarantee you too will die. Nope, its a killer tree! I know the Mad Head team can do it because they are so talented, and I look forward to what they can do with a sequel in the Donna Brave series. I'm more than a little upset that MHG dropped the ball with this uninteresting and Tre plot. If you're "Brave" Flower Fiesta a recap of my review to help you decide which version, if either is right for you: Donna Brave could hardly wait to see her friend Kathi, after all she hasn't seen her since they hung out together at school. And the victims' names are tacked up on a sign post at the end of the driveway. I am shocked; absolutely shocked that Mad Head would put their name on this bottom-of-the-barrel game. Worse, the tree is killing people who receive a leaf from it. I almost didn't try Townsmen: A Kingdom Rebuilt because of the bad reviews but I'm glad I did. Why send them to you when people are now dying Collfctors her house? In terms of entertainment and relaxation, this game delivers just what you need!

The production team did a great job with the sights and sounds. Now dad informs me that her wounds are lethal and she has 24 hours to live. I've never given a game one star before. Next up, I've got to melt some ice, do I use my matches, do I use my kerosene lantern, of course not, they won't do the job, but I can use a single match to catch a stick on fire without any fuel! And as the tree is growing and destroying the house, you, playing as Donna, all but cuddle up to it, until you get one of the leaves that guarantee you too will die. The first thing I noticed was the lack of lip movement when a character speaks. Are the wounds one and the same as the tree? I don't like overly gloomy, complex games so this just fits nicely into the type of game I enjoy. I'm more than a little upset that MHG dropped the ball with this uninteresting and ridiculous plot. There are Silhouetted Shape finds, Matching Pairs and scenes where you place objects into the scene instead of taking them out. Each scene in the CE version also has a hidden Magnifying glass to find as well, which unlocks Bonus Content once they have all been collected, some of which are nicely blended into the scenery.

Donna Brave 2: And The Deathly Tree CE [01] Let's Play Walkthrough - START OPENING - Part 1

I've never given a game one star before. Nope, its a killer tree! The CE version of the game is rather light on extra content although there are morphing objects and some fairly "in your face" collectibles to find. I may not like the story, but I loved the bling available in the Collector's Edition version. You will definitely get your money's worth if you enjoy sleuthing, but items to find can be frustrating to find. After a brief chat when you arrived Kathi is grabbed by tree roots that appear and whisk her away as she screams for your help, which is probably the most action you will see in this game. Graphics: They are absolutely gorgeous. The plot doesn't make sense and is not believable. Please try the demo, as the changing time periods and lack of character and skill in anything will convince you too that this was a black day at Mad Head! I thought the first Donna Brave was really good and bought this one untried - lucky it was during a sale!! Kathi sent you petals of a flower that will save a victim from a tree attack. If you can't present a complete SE game then don't bother.

Those looking for an intense challenge won't get it from the game either. So we are left with a slow moving game that has the player running back and forth through a house full of really unlikable people doing some of the dumbest tasks I've seen: After being "greeted" by your friend Kathi's nasty cousin, you heist Kathi's blue necklace to bribe said cousin for her help! He seems undecided if she will die in 12 or 24 hours, but he's sure destroying the tree will cure her, maybe. Boring, unoriginal, short, unchallenging Date published: Rated 1 out of 5 by mymetime from Second Album Syndrome?? Is it a whodunit murder mystery? The production team did a great job with the sights and sounds. There aren't a whole lot of HOP's or MG's for that matter , and there are no alternate puzzles available. Date published: There is a good jump map available, that shows where an available task is located, The Mini Games are easy to medium in difficulty. There is a good interactive map which shows where something needs to be done.

The HOPS are excellent and varied with some being different than those normally seen. Is it a whodunit murder mystery? I'm more than a little upset that MHG dropped the ball with this uninteresting and ridiculous plot. I must destroy the vile death tree, or Kathi will die in less than a day! Oh, and if you just don't like HOPS, you can always switch to a mini game to help complete the scenes. I almost didn't try it because of the bad reviews but I'm glad I did. The storyline does a nice job also. Since we all have differing tastes in games I recommend that you try the demo to see if this game might be one you will enjoy. Many of the scenes offer Panoramic views, where you can scroll further to the left or right in an attempt to make the player feel like they are actually there. After a brief chat when you arrived Kathi is grabbed by tree roots that appear and whisk her away as she screams for your help, which is probably the most action you will see in this game. The Hidden Object Scenes are mostly Interactive List finds, the scenes are beautifully drawn and there are a ton of interactive items. Bad stuff: The time periods are strangely mixed and the characters look like paper cutouts with little movement or life. Happy gaming!

  1. You are going through rooms in Donna's friend's manor looking for clues, solving puzzles, etc. It is a perfect game for a lazy day. They even spelt 'Donna' wrong in the dialogue, that is how much effort was put into it. If the wounds caused by the tree are fatal and you have 24 hours to live give or take a few hours how will it fix things if I destroy the tree? Oh looky here, an iron handle, I simply place it on the lid, and it lifts the lid with ease.

  2. Between story inconsistencies and blurry artwork, is there anyone at Madhead doing quality control? Mad Head Games should have made this new series more like an Agatha Christie murder mystery. Kathi's dad has figured out the solution!

  3. I'm sure it's hard to deal with entrenched camps who hate HOPs or hate puzzles. The Mini Games are numerous and entertaining, and most of the puzzles give you the option to play the game in either an Easy of Hard mode which is a feature I really like. 5. To make matters worse, the graphics are horrible at times, close ups in some scenes make everything look like it was drawn for a cartoon. I am shocked; absolutely shocked that Mad Head would put their name on this bottom-of-the-barrel game. Worse, the tree is killing people who receive a leaf from it.

  7. The plot doesn't make sense and is not believable. One of the reason's I liked this game better than the last, is that there are a ton of Mini Games, most of which are super easy. The animals are totally adorable.

  8. He seemed so sure she would live 24 hours, just a second ago, but now she has less than a day? As this signals the end of the Demo, you will be as happy to get out as most players will be! How about of each? I am shocked; absolutely shocked that Mad Head would put their name on this bottom-of-the-barrel game.

There are so many inconsistencies and logic fails, that one is left scratching one's head, trying to keep up with the story.
