League of Light: The Gatherer

From Mariaglorum, creators of the popular Mystery of the Ancients series, comes another exciting case for the League of Light! After saving the Hunter and his son from a nefarious witch, you never thought you'd be back in Blake’s Mountain. Now the Hunter needs the League's help again – someone has been following him, and he fears for his family. But when you arrive to investigate... you're arrested for trespassing! Someone in town is impersonating a League of Light agent, using the cover to stalk and capture the Hunter. Can you and your little scarecrow friend track down the imposter and uncover his devious plans? Find out in this spooky Hidden Object Puzzle Adventure game!

I wouldn't mind having a longer bonus story to complete, duration-wise, but all in all, this was truly FUN and the game-play reminded me kinda of a adventure game, rather than "just" a HOG one. The game has a great mix of hidden object's and puzzles they start off easy but most of these games do. There is a great story and storytelling with voiceovers using chapters through pictures. To make matters worse the culprit is impersonating a League of Light agent. Great little game! Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by bishky from What can I say but "Here we go again" I love this series and this is really good and loads of fun. Although I have to say the female gender's voice sounds a lot like the woman who voices Nancy in the Nancy Drew games but that could just be me. The games are fun and different. Yes, it is a bit short, but I would rather have a shorter game with good entertainment value than a game that appears longer because HO's are re-used over and over again. There is a custom game option available but IMHO it is rather useless. Finally, I enjoy the list hos better than other types, some thing I seldom see any more. You really have to think and plan what you are going to do, but you do have a little "helper" for some of the chores. Which I think is awesome and they tend to do that in this series.

Too bad developers have pretty much left those of use who prefer list hos and little helpers. Little scarecrow is adorable. So this is the fourth game in the league of light series and I am delighted with the game. It is not long before you find yourself in chains and now you must escape before you will be able to help anyone. In this captivating new adventure where the Hunter becomes the hunted, you are called upon to find the stalker who is impersonating a League of Light agent. I'm hoping this is the beginning of a move away from the "moving cut-outs" and way too many pencil drawings of recent games on BFG. I just wish it was longer. There is a lot of variety so I doubt you will become bored as you play through the game. The games are fun and different. Help the Hunter keep his family safe and track down the imposter before they can complete their dastardly plan. One of my all time favorite games is Stray Souls and the reason why I love that game so much is because the storyline is interesting and it feels like a very long game and worth the money! You also get to choose your gender and unlike some of the games out there which ever gender you choose actually has a voice over dialog. Once again we have our little scarecrow helper but this time we witness his transformation from average boy to scarecrow as he is trying to help us very early in the game. It reminds me of the games from a few years backthe ones with mid-level mini-games, the ones we still replay.

I hate it when these games do that. Jump in and find out! Look to our League of Light: The Gatherer Walkthrough which is filled with easy to follow instructions, detailed screen shots and hidden object and mini game solutions to help you along the way. That said, this is a beautifully done game. A League of Light: The Gatherer run down of the demo is you come to the town to help a father and son but as you get there you find out someone is impersonating you and you can't get in to the town. I loved the beautiful graphics, the almost continuous music which lends to the mood of the game. In the achievement section you will find the mosaic puzzle along with an achievement that requires you to take a quiz to see if you where paying attention to the game. There are four levels of difficulty to choose from casual, experience, masterful and custom. You also need to keep a look out for hidden owl's in each scene to help you finish some of your mosaic pieces for a puzzle in the extra's section. The storyline isn't especially noteworthy, but The Clockwork Man: The Hidden World hidden object games are each a bit different. To make matters worse the culprit is impersonating a League of Light agent. Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by Dianamarieg81 from Love this Series! Will you be able to pull this off in time and uncover the imposter and foil their plans?

The Developers create these beautiful worlds and fantastical storylines but lazy writing takes the player out of the fantasy and we end up rolling our eyes in exasperation. Great little game! How on earth will you solve this case? Intricate archaic puzzle chests that result in mundane items like rope? I guess because the production values are so good I expect the story to be the same. There is a custom game option available but IMHO it is rather useless. Speaking of the sound this game's music is great. Thank you, Mariaglorium! To make matters worse the culprit is impersonating a League of Light agent. Jump in and find out! Yes, it is a bit short, but I would rather have a shorter game with good entertainment value than a game that appears longer because HO's are re-used over and over again. It just makes no sense to be in these dangerous situations and throw away a useful tool after one use so there can be a quick easy reason for another puzzle to get yet another knife.

Too bad developers have pretty much left those of use who prefer list hos and little helpers. League of Light is definitely a series I will continue Loves Power Mahjong buy. Little scarecrow is adorable. It is not long before you find yourself in chains and now you must escape before you will be able to help anyone. More like this would be well received.

It is not long before you find yourself in chains and now you must escape before you will be able to help anyone. Our little "helper" is back, and cute as can be, although there is a lack of character development. It reminds me of the games from a few years backthe ones with mid-level mini-games, the ones we still replay. Even though I love this game, please try the demo to see if it is a game you will enjoy. Generally the minis increase in difficulty as we play through the game so I am holding out hope for so more challenging puzzles later. Thank you, Mariaglorium! 1. It just makes no sense to be in these dangerous situations and throw away a useful tool after one use so there can be a quick easy reason for another puzzle to get yet another knife. Your tools include a transporter type map and a little scarecrow helper who I happen to think is quite cute. 4. The CE version of the game is fairly light on extras so it is a matter of preference between buying the CE or waiting for the SE release a month from now. For me, the cut-scenes move the story forward and build excitement, so when the quality of those are poor, games lose my interest quickly.

  7. How on earth will you solve this case? I bought this game and the sequel because I was curious to find out what happened to the little scarecrow. Thankfully, this one is very well-done in that area.
