What if the night never ended? The ending is heartfelt and I wish it would have shown multiple or any transformations. Different storyline. If you're not a puzzle fan, you probably won't enjoy this game. Can you fight against the trolls as they try to take back the night and bring around eternal solar eclipse? The Collector's Edition version Bonus Chapter is so long you'd think it was an Spirit Legends: Solar Eclipse full-length release. Biggest complaint I have is with the characters. Okay, playing Sooar and our reaction to them is very subjective so not everyone will feel the same about any game so there will be many who like this game but unfortunately, I am not one of them. Date published: Rated 4 out of 5 by campingramps from Nice War Chariots: Royal Legion game for leisure play Finally, an HO that has some color! The game features an abundance of puzzles, although most of them feel like a test of patience instead of actually being creative and complex. What kind of Gadget did Domini give us this time, you may ask? I liked this game, Legens: was interesting. Your fellow monster hunter has gone missing in the land of the trolls.

The puzzles I did like were dexterity, jigsaw, matching, wooden map, moving shards and pairs. Date published: Rated 3 out of 5 by pnk from Acting? If all you want in a game is to find an abundance of puzzles with few HOS, then this is the game for you! They are either overly-dramatic or unemotional, there is no in-between. Domini happens to be a developer whose games I generally enjoy but as with the first game in this series, Solar Eclipse fell flat for me. The game features an abundance of puzzles, although most of them feel like a test of patience instead of actually being creative and complex. What I did find excellent in the game were the puzzles and some of the HOS. In the case of Solar Eclipse that was a huge mistake. Date published: Rated 4 out of 5 by rpggramma from Interesting! On a more disappointing note, the voice-overs are simply not up to par. The Bestiary, a spell book used to tame beasts, requires that we play mini games before each use and some of those were excellent and well-constructed. Domini Games loves their intense, colorful graphics and for the most part so do I but when that color palette relies on blue and purple, it simply becomes a bit too unrealistic and too much for me. Date published: Rated 2 out of 5 by dazytek from Disappointing Too simple. The trolls have been cursed, forced to live their lives by the light of the moon, the sun is their nemesis, but so are the Hunters who dedicate their lives to eradicating these "Monsters" But what if the sun never rose?

The CE version Morphing Paintings are somewhat obscure but still rather obvious, but I thought the CE version Scrolls were creatively blended into the scenery. The biggest problem I have with this game is that once again Domini Silar the game The Tiny Bang Story too much. Every time I heard the pronunciation I cringed. Spirit Legends: Solar Eclipse is a fine fantasy adventure, despite being messy and unfocused at times. The zero skip on the custom setting helped a lot in my enjoyment. Even with all the Spiirt I didn't like, I still liked the game.

Let's Play - Spirit Legends 2 - Solar Eclipse - Part 7

They are on the, I don't know, robotic acting genre? The trolls have personality. What if this freedom could be achieved with an eternal Solar Eclipse? As for the adventure portion of the game, it is enjoyable enough, but definitely nothing mind-blowing. I enjoy playing this and may buy. Spirit Legends: Solar Eclipse mimics the visual style of other games from the studio, which I have personally grown to enjoy. HOs are ok, puzzles are good. The trolls have been cursed, forced to live their lives by the light of the moon, the sun is their nemesis, but so are the Hunters who dedicate their lives to eradicating these "Monsters" But what if the sun never rose? It is my hope that if there is ever another Spirit Legends game that the editing team will certainly go to Google and look up how the word is correctly pronounced. The storyline does get dragged out a little bit towards the end, making the last chapter or two pales in comparison to the rest of the game. The main character is as exciting as a nap. If all you want in a game is to find an abundance of puzzles with few HOS, then this is the game for you! The Bestiary Book is used 7 times, once you complete a random mini-game that has nothing to do with that particular creature. Chapter 6 totally lost my attention span because it just dragged on and on. The game features an abundance of puzzles, although most of them feel like a test of patience instead of actually being creative and complex. 1. Spirit Legends: Solar Eclipse is a fine fantasy adventure, despite being messy and unfocused at times. Date published: Rated 2 out of 5 by dazytek from Disappointing Too simple. The Collector's Edition version Bonus Chapter is so long you'd think it was an actual full-length release.

  2. Completed Game approximately 6. After completing the main game I walked away for hours before forcing myself to play the Collector's Edition Bonus Chapter the size of all 6 main chapters combined. The gameplay was not always easy, and I did have to use the hint button quite frequently, in fact more often than usual. If you don't get bored playing the main game, the length of this BC chapter is worthy of the CE price. I don't want to repeat the same tasks a thousand times just for the sake of stretching the appearance of a game..

  3. Different storyline. Date published: Rated 4 out of 5 by campingramps from Nice little game for leisure play Finally, an HO that has some color! No challenge got bored very easily Date published:

  4. I really liked most of the puzzles but the last 2 chapters worth about did me in, it was just puzzle after puzzle with no progression to the story and very few HO's to break up the chain of mini-games. The trolls have been cursed, forced to live their lives by the light of the moon, the sun is their nemesis, but so are the Hunters who dedicate their lives to eradicating these "Monsters" But what if the sun never rose? What would it take to allow Trolls the freedom of life without the fear of stone? A Bestiary annoyingly spelled as Beastdiary is also included, which leads to even more puzzles.

  5. Even though Spirit Legends is not a game I enjoyed, I recommend that you try the demo because the game might be perfect for you. The Bestiary Book is used 7 times, once you complete a random mini-game that has nothing to do with that particular creature. Speaking of voiceovers, I gave a high-five to the reviewer of the CE who said that the word bestiary was mispronounced. The main character is as exciting as a nap.

  6. Game play moves along and doesn't stray from the story line. When I began playing Solar Eclipse, my senses were overwhelmed by the overuse of blues and purples for the graphics in the game. If you don't get bored playing the main game, the length of this BC chapter is worthy of the CE price.

  7. Nonetheless, there is no denying that the storyline in Solar Eclipse is rather interesting, especially in the first few chapters. Every time I heard the pronunciation I cringed. The trolls have personality. Why a Bestiary Book to turn vicious monsters into harmless pets, of course! The gameplay was not always easy, and I did have to use the hint button quite frequently, in fact more often than usual.

  8. The Bestiary, a spell book used to tame beasts, requires that we play mini games before each use and some of those were excellent and well-constructed. You have the typical HO back and forth but not to the point of aggravation. 10. This was actually a pleasant game to look at. Your fellow monster hunter has gone missing in the land of the trolls. The good news is that the mini-game is different each time, and they actually aren't bad games for the most part. The main character is as exciting as a nap. Most of the mini-games and hops weren't the ones I liked.

  11. The storyline does get dragged out a little bit towards the end, making the last chapter or two pales in comparison to the rest of the game. The Collector's Edition version Bonus Chapter is so long you'd think it was an actual full-length release. On a more disappointing note, the voice-overs are simply not up to par. The graphics are colorful, the animations are brilliantly animated, and the level of detail in each scene is quite outstanding.
