Nova doesn't really do much except Reflectios captured or occasionally hand us things. In general, I was not impressed with most of the puzzles. That's usually only available in Collector's Editions, so I really liked that aspect of the game play. The Mini Games are in abundance and most have different steps, but none seem to be too Battle Slots or Collrctors frustrating. Michael, his wife, Nova, and others will join you in your quest to save your people. Similarly, the puzzles are mostly clever, although I have seen most of them countless times before. I got tired of travelling back-and-forth collecting supplies. Throughout the game you will hear dogs barking. You are off to this parallel universe to develop an antidote for this disease all while investigating what Henrick is up to. I found the pace slow. As always, try it for yourself and see what you think. Place nine items into slots in a box by row and column so they match up by type and color. I think the achievements look pretty. However, if you are looking for a good story with enough action to keep you interested and moving, this is not the game for you. Unfortunately, I was not enamored by this game. Visuals are high standard, music is suiting, HOS are variable and partly creative though puzzles more on the easy side. If I had I wouldn't have bought it. Only worth a CE price if you want to see the reason this series became popular in the first place. A few years ago, the Sages activated a portal to ClearIt parallel dimension. I did note that we could not click through dialog, most of the time, if we read faster than they speak. So you seek out Nova Michael's assistant who has knowledge of a magic scepter which may help you find a way to heal everyone who's been infected by Henrik's Senekta virus. Our character, Elva, is called in to help develop a cure and stop the bad guy. But the medicine does not work and people are not really prepared to lose their sons. There are one hundred two love letters to collect. The hidden object scenes are also delightfully creative and often times help progress the storyline so that you don't become uninterested. Most are easy. Some hops had multiple steps. Screams and Sorrow has a great premise, presenting a story about conflicts between the two parallel worlds in such an interesting and unconventional manner. With the slow pace and lackluster HOP scenes, this game is very boring. Whether you chose the SE or CE version you definitely get your money's worth of gameplay. They are plenty large enough to see and quite easy to find.
