This helps elevate the story considerably, hooking you in with cutscenes and clues that hint our foreshadow-y named hotel buyer may have bitten off more than he can chew. I had items that I knew where they went, but couldn't find the rooms that they went in!! At least your detective friend James Haunted Hotel: Ancient Bane helps by finding items of use to you, Hltel: makes him ten times more useful than the Dark Tales series' Detective Dupin. The music from the gramophone was non-existent as something came out of it. Every area and Hainted feels alive with detail and animation, and Hoteo: voice work is some of the best you'll find in a casual game. I'm not sure what you expect when your hotel has demon faces on the gates, enough sinister angel statuary to make Matt Smith hesitate, and twice as many elaborate puzzle locks as bathrooms, but whatever floats your boat. The puzzles themselves tend to fall back too often on matching or swapping things to make matches, but there also isn't really any illogical gameplay to be found. It is very well put together and does nothing wrong, but it is not very memorable or original. Game Play: It was very interesting that you started out with a Haubted source" amulet looking thing but by the end of the demo it was still not completely put together. The quality Nightmare on the Pacific the soundtracks Moai V: New Generation no less Ancuent, very dramatic with a sense of creepiness; despite that, they could go a little too far sometimes. Townsmen: A Kingdom Rebuilt map only highlighted ONE area with an active task.

Play the game to find out. Little did the townspeople know it would turn into a huge success. Not gonna say - you have to play the demo at least. It contains a bonus chapter, art gallery, strategy guide, and more. There was a LOT of back and forthing but very worth it. I think that was done to make rooms even harder to find. If it only involved one or two items in the course of the game, it may be tolerable, but over and over again, in nearly every HO puzzle, these misidentifications are occurring. It's about what you'd expect from the genre, with item puzzles and adventuring, but all of it is bundled in an appealing mystical style. Very easy to find the items you need. Is there something sinister afoot?

There is a diary, but as far as I could tell, didn't retain clues, just the same notes, pieces of paper you found. Darling, handsome James is very brave and daring, however, he always seems to get himself into impossible situations and needs our help. Then again, you can use a mannequin to prop a door open or weigh down papers, soooooo Every area and character feels alive with detail and animation, and the voice work is some of the best you'll find in a casual game. I would have an item I knew went somewhere, but not remember where. I think that was done to make rooms even harder to find. Graphics: Although the colors were amazing, everything appropriate to the creepiness of each room, I was a bit disappointed. Sinister stuffed bunnies! Not great, but pretty good. There is a map in the form of a compass which is transportable and tells you where an active area is and where there is not. I liked the characters, the games, the hidden object scenes, graphics, everything. Again, the genre is "Hidden Object", and this should be the most important part of such a game.

At least the length of the game is satisfying, roughly 4 hours on the main game and another hour on the bonus chapter. Is the hotel really haunted? Had no problems whatsoever. I enjoyed it!!! It is really well-done on the graphics and artwork, I like the way it smoothly transitions from one area to another I understand it is part of a 'set' - so I will get the other sequels in the Haunted Hotel.
