Weather Lord: Graduation

The legacy of the Weather Lord continues as King Victor and Queen Victoria prepare to pass the royal torch to their daughter, Jenny. But before Jenny can rule, she must learn the ropes! That day comes when pirates steal the Great Dragon's golden egg. Help Jenny and her mentor save the day before the beast unleashes the full fury of her wrath!

I won't be buying the collectors edition, but will wait for the standard version. I can't say how the music is as I always play with the music off but the sound effects weren't annoying. First time around play the easy setting, then go back to play the more challenging setting. With this collector's edition, you do get 15 extra levels that are more challenging, which I enjoyed. There are pirates and cannons but the balloon-blowing trolls are back along with the floating ghosts. Get hours of play, and still have fun the entire time. Thanks to the developers on this one! The artistry in this game is phenomenal Princess Jenny's skill's will be put to the test, as she sets out to retrieve the Great Dragon's Golden Egg, before the magnificent beast awakens and wreaks havoc upon the kingdom and it's people! All of the sequels replaced this with a simple set of weather-themed gizmos that you just use when the time comes, leaving little or no thinking to be done. I like the change. I've been playing nonstop and this is an enjoyable game that I will come back to again and again.

The game play was just the right level of difficulty on the time setting - I'm finishing the levels under the time limit but not by such a wide margin that there's no challenge. All of the sequels replaced this with a simple set of weather-themed gizmos that you just use when the time comes, leaving little or no thinking to be done. Like all the other Weather Lord games, this one is great fun. Princess Jenny's skill's will be put to the test, as she sets out to retrieve the Great Dragon's Golden Egg, before the magnificent beast awakens and wreaks havoc upon the kingdom and it's people! It's great to get a decent time management game instead of the same-o same-o dark and gloomy HO's that are the main offering from Big Fish these days. Rain is used to grow crops and even put out the flames of burning buildings. The Sun dries up puddles, Wind can be used to power mills for resources, and Storms can be used to chase away the pirates. For those who are fans of the Weather Lord series, this installment is not as challenging as the others but still enjoyable. If only they would take the grownup parts of both the original and the sequels and combine them together, they would have something great--maybe they can do it now that they have had a "graduation". Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by pennmom36 from Graduation Test My how time flies, King Victor and Queen Victoria are ready to pass the Royal Torch down to their daughter, Princess Jenny, after she graduates of course! You can play in a Relaxed, untimed mode or Normal mode, and you can earn Gold, Silver or Bronze medals for each level completed. They are now my go-to favorites. Rain is used to grow crops and even put out the flames of burning buildings.

The graphics are fantastic: especially love the birds flying overhead. Princess Jenny barely gets a chance to settle down when catastrophe strikes, Pirates have invaded the University and have stolen a very important artifact. I had a load of fun with this release and hopefully you will too!!! Date published: The fairy houses are still there and a lot of new buildings that need upgrading as well as a storehouse that provides goodies. The game play was fun but also challenging. There are some slight alterations in the types of weather used and more noticeably you have pirates instead of goblins. In this CE version, there are 31 hidden Jigsaw puzzle pieces available, but they won't be available in every level apparently because there are 60 regular levels plus the bonus levels, which is kind of a bummer in my opinion, and it would be more of a challenge if they morphed because they are quite large and easily spotted. I appreciate that they proof-read the dialogue and it wasn't full of typos, as some games are. There are several aspects of this game I want to point out that struck me by surprise. Lots of things to do like building houses, collecting your materials. I found those games enormously frustrating. The downfall of the original was probably the preschool-looking theme and artwork for a game that preschoolers couldn't handle. Bottom line is not all TM games are for every TM fan out there.

The story was so-so and not one of the game's strongest assets but it also wasn't so bad that it was a turnoff. The sequels all have engaging themes and fantasy artwork, but in each case the game itself is preschool-level.

There are some slight alterations in the types of weather used and more noticeably you have pirates instead of goblins. I enjoy it very much. All in all, worth a go during a BOGO sale and for those who want all the games in a series. Date published: Rated 5 out of 5 by BabuskaSargus from Perfect relaxation The game is not too demanding, but sometimes it is convenient. I don't think it's too easy or too hard, but just about right. What more can I say about this Weather Lord series!!! The gold mines are gone and replaced with stone mines but wheelbarrows filled with needed supplies abound. For those who are fans of the Weather Lord series, this installment is not as challenging as the others but still enjoyable. Detail is very nice, will enjoy going back and replaying so that I can look over the full screen more closely. I loved the storyline and it was definitely easy to follow. I have all but two of the previous WL games- the 2nd and 3rd. I really like where they've taken this series. I loved the fact that you could play in timed mode or relaxed. Maybe this will be sorted when the next in the series appears.

There are several aspects of this game I want to point out that struck me by surprise. It doesn't make sense to me to pay double just to get an extra chapter. The artistry in this game is phenomenal Weatehr hope this helped you Wdather at least try this game. Get hours of play, and still have fun the entire time. The attention to detail in this Waether will make the second time around just as much fun. While this game is rGaduation exception, the addition of the weather elements Weather Lord: Graduation it unique and enjoyable. Merchants sell different goods and tools, and some items can be crafted when combined, you can even gather the essence of rain to create a downpour in this edition. The developers could do without the puzzle pieces though, they are so obvious that they add little to the game play. I enjoy it very much. Kept me well entertained. Mahjong Christmas I want to play the others that lead up to this one.

  8. All the others Weather Lord Games, are also great! Princess Jenny's skill's will be put to the test, as she sets out to retrieve the Great Dragon's Golden Egg, before the magnificent beast awakens and wreaks havoc upon the kingdom and it's people! Bonuses are added which speed up workers, produce resources faster, recharge the weather quicker or increase production, but this effect is only temporary and must recharge before using it again.
